HEAppE

This page is dedicated to advanced users and HEAppE middleware administrators that need to configure an instance of the HEAppE middleware. As a regular user, you should instead request access to your HPC center's HEAppE instance for your compute project.

HEAppE deployment

In short, the process requires SSH access to a virtual machine, where the HEAppE ansible deployment script will be executed.

HEAppE instance requirements

Minimum version: 6.3.0

API Configuration: - Request rate limit at least 100 thousand - Timeout for API requests at least 60 seconds

Project setup:

  • Project must exist with the correct accounting string
  • Project must have a GPU queue and set with ACN queue group
  • Linked SSH account with write access to both project and scratch storage
  • HEAppE account assigned to this project with at least Submitter and Manager roles.
  • Command templates for inference engine start-ups are not required, those will be synced through the service.
